6 months old!!!

April was a big month for Baby Evan - he turned the big 6 months old!!! I can't believe how quickly the time is going by. He is growing up so fast. At his six month check up he weighed in at 23 lbs 8 oz, he is in the 99 percentile. He is measuring 28.5 inches in height which is the 96 percentile. The doctor says he is a BIG BOY!!!He is officially rolling over consitantly, beginning to sit up, and is starting to use a sippy cup when he eats his baby food.

We took Evan to the church Easter Egg Hunt - though he was unable to actually hunt he enjoyed watching all the other kids. Evan's friends Lola and Wyatt Harmon shared some eggs with him. It was so sweet.

On Mother's Day weekend Evan attended his 1st Auburn Baseball Game. He had a great time - and helped the Tigers defeat the GA Bulldawgs. I had such a special 1st Mother's Day with Evan and my sweet hubby.

I hope to post again soon!

Hugs to you all!!!

March Update

(St. Patrick's Day)
(Just another picture!)
(Squash- yummy!)

Well our Little Guy is getting ready to turn 5 months old - I can't believe how fast time flies!!!

Since our last post - Evan started eating babyfood - too cute! He loves to eat as you can tell by his chunky legs...he is definetly our chunky monkey!
He also has a developed a great passion of "talking" - we have lots to look forward to when it all starts to make sense...He gets his chattyness honest.

The warm weather is great - he enjoys his stroller rides and watching mommy and daddy work in the yard! We can't wait to get him back to the lake for his 1st boat ride.

Hugs and kisses!

Some Cathing Up To Do...

(National Championship Game)
(Christmas 2010 = 2 months)
(Just smiling away for Mommy & Daddy = 3 mo 3 weeks)
(Tummy Time = 3 mo)
(Dedication - Jan 16th)

So I am soooo far behind on this blog. I have had a very special request to keep it updated - so here goes...

Since our last post...

We took Evan to the SEC Championship game...he did great - pretty much slept through most it of it...he was 5 weeks old.

During the month of December we traveled to grandparents to celebrate the holidays, he was such a trooper! On Dec 19th our little one rolled over (he hasn't done it since) but it counts!!! We thoroughly enjoyed having our new addition here for Christmas. On Christmas Day, Evan turned 2 months old...at his 2 mo check up he weighed 15 lbs and didn't even cry when he got shots.

For New Year's Eve we went to our friends lake houes...it was Evan's first trip to the lake...he is really looking forward to hanging out down there this spring in summer. Hopefully he will like it as much as Mommy and Daddy!!!

We were very brave and took Evan on his first plane ride to Pheonix, AZ to watch the Auburn Tiger defeat the Oregon Ducks...he also got to see the Grand Canyon!!! Here he also slept through majority of the game...it was amazing! He did so well with the time change, flying, and just being out of his comfort zone. We were very proud!
We had a very special Dedication Ceremony for Evan on Jan 16th. our "Uncle" Mike Wells conducted the service at his church in Auburn. We were surrounded by friends and family. My brother made a very special video...(check it out at the link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HQne8X8s0rA)

On Jan 18th I started back to work...it was bittersweet. Evan's "G" came over from B'ham to keep him that week. They sang, played, and got some good ole fun time together. The next week Evan got to spend time with his YaYa while Mommy worked. From what I have been told YaYa did get a little bit of rocking time in!!! :)
This was the week we discovered he was cutting his first tooth - though it hasn't come through yet...not sure what that was all about but you could definetly see the white of the tooth. Daddy also put together Evan's Jumparoo which is now one of his favorite things! While YaYa was here E-man turned 3 months old...he went to the doctoer got some shots and weighed in at a whopping 18.4 lbs (he is one big boy!!). We also had his 3 mo pictures made...Jennifer does such a great job!(www.jenniferharmon.smugmug.com ...Evan 3 mo ...Temp)

On Jan 31st Evan started the sitter, Ms. Betty is the best! She loves on him, sings to him, rocks him, treats him like her own. We could be more blessed to have such a loving, caring person keeping our little buddy. So, after only 3 days at the sitter Evan started with his first cold...so sad! :(
He is just now getting over it.

Okay - wow that was really really long but you are pretty much caught up. I pledge to do my very best to at least update his blog monthly for all you blog followers!!!

Hugs to you all!
